Presbyterian Media Mission (PMM) was founded in 1980 as a ministry of the Pittsburgh Presbytery. As PMM executive director Gregg Hartung tells it, Dennis Benson hosted a Sunday morning talk show on a rock station.  He had a vision for a new show where the guest would be the focus, music and other sound would be the host. Passages began with a half-hour version, then 15 minutes, and now takes the form of 60-90 second vignettes of people telling their stories.  

To date, 2,000 shows have been produced and Passages airs on 643 stations, mostly country stations, but some rock and news/talk.  Mennonite Media is now a partner in this project. Above, Hartung gives Melodie Davis copies of two recent productions of Passages.
